Hello world! I am Reigen Arataka.
I am pleased to announce the launch of my website, “霊験あらたか.com（ReigenArataka.com）” On October 21, 2025, as autumn begins to deepen, I have finally been able to give form to my thoughts. This website serves as my homepage, “Reigen Arataka,” where I hope to cultivate a space for sharing mysterious daily occurrences, resonant experiences, and interactions with all of you.
Why the Name “Reigen Arataka”?
“Reigen Arataka” (霊験あらたか) — when I first encountered this phrase, something resonated deeply within my heart. While the dictionary defines it as “the remarkable manifestation of divine benefits or efficacy,” for me, this phrase holds a meaning that goes far beyond its definition.
Since ancient times in Japan, invisible forces and mysterious phenomena have been recognized as “reigen” (spiritual manifestations), and their clear appearance as “arataka” (evident/manifest) has been cherished. “Arataka” means clearly, evidently, obviously. In other words, it’s a beautiful Japanese expression describing a state where mysterious powers manifest clearly.
In my life, mysterious things happen quite frequently. I meet necessary people at timing that seems beyond coincidence, thoughts become reality, and I encounter inexplicable events. At first, I thought these were mere coincidences, but they occurred so frequently that I began to feel perhaps my very existence itself is “reigen arataka” — miraculous.
I was also drawn to the beauty of how this phrase sounds. The flow of “reigen arataka” is mystical like an ancient incantation, yet approachable. Choosing this phrase as my name felt like a natural progression.
International Notation of the Name
When written in Roman letters, “霊験あらたか” becomes “Reigen Arataka.” For English-speaking audiences, “Arataka Reigen” might feel more natural. While the order of family and given names varies by culture, I primarily use the traditional Japanese order of “Reigen Arataka.”
Interestingly, when translated into English, “reigen arataka” becomes the word “Miraculous.” This word, meaning extraordinary or wondrous, somehow feels perfect for expressing what I’ve experienced. While calling things miracles might sound grandiose, I want to carefully document the small miracles within daily life.
What I Want to Share Through This Site
Through the “Reigen Arataka” website, I want to share the mysterious events I’ve experienced, daily insights, and various mystical experiences you share with me.
There are many things in this world that science cannot explain, things that logic cannot rationalize. Rather than denying these, or blindly believing in them, I want to face each one carefully. Mysterious experiences might be teaching us something. It could be life guidance, or hints about the state of our hearts.
Through this site, I hope to explore with all of you the beauty of the world revealed through such mysterious events, the depth of life, and the mysteries hidden in everyday life.
Site Structure and Future Development
Starting from the top page URL (https://reigenarataka.com/), I plan to enrich the site with various content.
First, I will regularly update my own mysterious experience records. I’ll document in detail what meaning each event held, what I realized looking back, and what I learned from them.
I’m also considering accepting submissions of mysterious experiences from readers. Please share your inexplicable events, encounters that seem beyond coincidence, experiences like prophetic dreams, and more. By sharing mysteries together, our perspective on this world might shift slightly.
Furthermore, I’m planning visit records to miraculous places. Japan has many shrines, temples, and power spots that have been considered miraculous since ancient times. I want to actually visit these places, feel their atmosphere, and record what happens there.

I’ve also created an account on X (formerly Twitter) (@reigenaratakax). At https://x.com/reigenaratakax, I’ll be sharing daily small mysteries and insights. I plan to share little events that don’t quite fit in blog posts and mysterious phenomena happening in real-time.
